Bharatanatyam dancer

I have been wanting to do a photoshoot with a Bharathanatyam dancer for a long time now. Luckily Krithikaa a friend of a friend had a performance yesterday and I requested her to stop by after that. She obliged and we had a wonderful time. She is super talented and her mom and teacher Radhika Shurajit was super enthusiastic and helped me with so many poses. This is the first installment of lot more pictures to follow in a couple of weeks.

Here’s a shot featuring all the 9 rasas(moods). If you want to know more about the different moods go through this page

Brilliant Stuff! :) You should try one for all the other classical dances such as Kuchipudi, Kathak and all :)
