Kids photography is something I have love to do, for several reasons. For one, it’s almost always fun to be with kids and unlike adults, I don’t have to make them pose. They already have hundreds of emotions & expressions. All I have to do is to make sure I catch them right. Although kids portraits are becoming vey popular these days, there are still many out there who dont give the practice enough importance it deserves. So, here I am to tell you the five reasons I think why you should get your kids portraits done.

1. This one is pretty simple. They are growing fast. An year or two from now, they are going to look, act and behave different in every conceivable way. So it’s important to get some good shots of them every couple of years.

2. If you are like me who grew up in middle class Indian family and if you are cribbing about how you dont have a good picture of you in your childhood, this point will be all too familiar. Don’t let your kids go through the same disappointment and get a portrait session done for your kids.

3. We live in a social media era and we never know what’s going to be on facebook in the future. In their teens, do you want your son or daughter to proudly show off their childhood pics on his/ her profile or hide it because they are crappy

4. In this day and age when you live in one corner of the world and your family & friends live in another corner, the need for sharing good pictures of your kids has become all the more paramount. Where are you going to get the pictures, if you haven’t gotten a portrait session for them?

5. Their emotions are so pure, unfiltered and authentic that you got to preserve them for psterity in the best possible way – good quality pictures.
